Princess Mary is the epitome of glamour in crown jewels

Crown Princess Mary and her husband Crown Prince Frederik have donned their best for two beautiful new portraits unveiled in Copenhagen today.

The photographs are hanging in National History Museum as part of their Iconic Portraits exhibition and Princess Mary stopped by to take a look at the grand opening.

In the photos Princess Mary is seen wearing a beige gold dress and plenty of Crown jewels, sporting a diamond tiara that belonged to Frederik’s grandmother Queen Ingrid, and matching necklace, earrings, brooch and a ring.

As is tradition, she is also wearing her Order of the Elephant on a blue sash.

After meeting at a bar while Frederik was in Australia for the 2000 Olympics, the couple has attended every winter and summer Games except one since then taking the chance to mark their special day in a new country every two years.
