In a beautiful moment of sanctity, a young cancer patient has brought joy to Pope Francis, serenading him with a version of Ave Maria that will bring tears to your eyes.   The Pope was in Mexico City when he met the teenager and the video shows him wiping away tears when she finished performing the song.  He then hugged her warmly

“I ask God to bless you, and to accompany you and your families, and all those people who work in this home and try to ensure that your smiles grow day by day,” he said, according to the official Vatican Network”.

  1. We can all succumb to a moving song, what makes this any different? I’m not moved by any person posing as superior due to a connection to a religion.

I would prefer the child sang something with greater humanity expression.

  2. more than $12 thousand was raised in Ballarat last night to send Australian sexual abuse survivors to Rome to confront Cardinal Pell, it is great to see the community rally around these victims

    • And, do they really think that they will get any where near Pell :/ ……. $12,000 wouldn’t go too far, air fare and accommodation for just a few people 🙁

  3. To the young cancer patient faith is a wonderful thing. Sadly for too many victims of abuse faith has been a curse.

  4. And patted him on the heard ???? Bet he didn’t give him money just a pat like that would help this child all bullshit
