Jeff Daniels spies a new movie opportunity

Happy birthday Jeff Daniels.

He might have turned 62 today but there is no sign that Jeff Daniels’ career is getting old.
This month Deadline announced Daniels has been announced as joining Aussie actor Guy Pearce and Paul Rudd in a new movie Catcher Was A Spy.
The movie, Deadline announced, is about Moe Berg, a professional baseball player, Ivy League graduate, and attorney who spoke nine languages.
He played pro for 15 seasons, mostly as a backup catcher but was also a top-secret spy for the Office of Strategic Services who helped the US win the race against Germany to build the atomic bomb.
Berg’s efforts were overseen by the “Father of Central Intelligence,” OSS Chief “Wild Bill” Donovan, the role played by Daniels.
