Gordon Ramsay reveals tragic news he has lost a child

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Gordon Ramsay is a talented chef, and has a legion of fans who adore his no-bull approach. Thousands tweeted him when he announced he and his wife Tana were expecting their fifth child a few months ago.

However there has been a terrible update: Tana has miscarried the baby at five months, reports the BBC.

Gordon wrote on Facebook: “We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.

“We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.

“I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done”, he said.

The couple have been married since 1996 and are parents to 18-year-old Megan, twins Holly and Jack, 16, and Matilda, 14.

On Twitter, the chef again reiterated his thanks for his kind fans’ support during this difficult time:
