Gina Rinehart’s advice for Malcolm

Gina Rinehart has a few suggestions for Malcolm Turnbull.

Malcolm Turnbull, listen up!

Gina Rinehart has strongly suggested the Prime Minister imitate US President Donald Trump’s leadership by cutting spending in Tuesday’s federal budget.

The multi-billionaire told News Limited that President Trump was a “fantastic” leader and had done wonders for the US economy.

“He’s doing a fantastic job,” the mining magnate said yesterday.

“I think Australia needs to learn from President Trump.

“I’m not going to comment on (whether Turnbull is the right man for the job), I just hope that he learns from America.”

Estimated worth $19.4 billion, Rinehart urged Turnbull to cut taxes and red tape when the Australian Federal Budget is handed down at 7.30pm tomorrow night.

She was in the audience last week at the American Australian Association where Trump and Turnbull met in person for the first time.

Following the event, Rinehart had nothing but compliments for the US President and said she loved his speech.

“It was a great honour to hear that,” Rinehart said.

She also said Australia should take a page from the US’ book and put non-violent prisoners to work to further bolster the economy.

“They pay for their crime, whether it’s petty theft or driving too fast, whatever those non-violent crimes… they get out to work,” she said.

She said it was happening successfully in the US and Australia was wasting resources if it didn’t follow suit as it was a viable alternative to building new prisons and increasing operational costs.

Rinehart also said Australia seriously needed to revitalise its economy and make itself appealing to investors.

“It’s very frustrating that there’s wastage going on and that so little attention, real attention, is given to making ourselves attractive for investment,” she said.

Speaking of wastage, Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been hit again – this time with a toilet fit for a king.

A golden toilet was sat right next to Trump’s star sometime over the weekend.

Filled with something disgusting, it also appeared that someone had broken the toilet tank which originally read “Take A Trump” despite other reports it read “Dump Trump”.

Either way, the message was clear.

This was the third time Trump’s star had been vandalised: last month someone scribbled “F*** Trump” and in October of last year, a pick axe was taken to it.

This isn’t, however, the first time Australia’s richest woman had an opinion about our government.
