She wowed the world last year in two incredible gowns on her wedding day and now, in celebration of Princess Eugenie’s 29th birthday on Sunday, Zac Posen has shared a never-before-seen photo of the royal in her gorgeous second dress.
Eugenie’s stunning blush gown was custom-made by the American designer, who previously said he was inspired by the beauty of Windsor and the surrounding countryside when designing the evening dress.
The breathtaking image shows Eugenie modelling the flowing gown while a well-dressed Zac kneels behind her holding the lengthy train. The designer also penned a lovely message, in which he described Eugenie as someone with a “heart of gold and sophisticated humour”.
“Every now and then you meet somebody who just knocks your socks off,” he wrote in the caption. “This last year I got to know a young lady who possessed natural elegance, a heart of gold and sophisticated humour.
“My studio and I had the honor (sic) (and the best time) collaborating with her on her special gown. Best of all she is dedicated to using her privilege to help our world and its people with her project @the_anti_slavery_collective. Happy Birthday! @princesseugenie.”

Many royal fans were quick to comment, with one writing: “Literally my favourite gown ever created.” Another added: “That dress was one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen!”
And a third wrote: “Every princess should be dressed by you. What a lovely gown! I look forward to watching this beautiful young woman and all that she will do!”
Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding outfits have gone on display at Windsor Castle, as part of an exhibition by the Royal Collection Trust. The loved-up couple tied the knot at St George’s chapel in Windsor in October last year.
The exhibition, which is on display until April 22, will not only allow royal fans to get a good look at Eugenie’s two wedding gowns, as the stunning Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara will also be displayed. One of the Queen’s personal tiaras, the stunning headpiece is made of diamond, emerald and platinum and features a large emerald stone in the centre.
Jack’s wedding outfit, which comprised of a black and grey morning suit with a vivid blue waistcoat, made by tailors at Huntsman on Savile Row, will also be shown.
It comes after Prince Andrew shared a series of four photographs on Twitter on Saturday, marking the 29th birthday of his youngest daughter with ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.
The photos include a shot of Eugenie as a newborn baby, while big sister Princess Beatrice looks on, along with a photograph of the princess riding a pony with her dad’s help.
More recent snaps included one of both girls with their mother Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, whose marriage to the Queen’s son ended in divorce in 1996, and a stunning shot taken on the steps of St George’s Chapel on the princess’ wedding day.
