She never puts a foot wrong when it comes to choosing stylish, yet appropriate, outfits for her various royal engagements and the Duchess of Cambridge looked sensational once again on Tuesday as she stepped out in a smart ensemble alongside husband Prince William.

The royal couple attended a charity event at London’s Troubadour White City Theatre yesterday in honour of the work carried out by crisis text service Shout, which was launched back in May by the Cambridges along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Catherine swapped her usual on-duty style of elegant dresses and stilettos for something a little smarter for the outing, donning a pair of tapered burgundy pants paired with a simple white t-shirt, chunky black belt and a pair of suede high-heeled shoes.

The mother-of-three completed the sophisticated look with a black and white checked blazer and wore her recently highlighted locks in loose curls over her shoulders. Meanwhile Prince William opted for a smart navy suit, paired with a pale blue shirt and dark tie.

Shout is a 24/7 text service that was developed by The Royal Foundation as part of the Heads Together campaign, that has been championed by Prince William, Catherine and Prince Harry in recent years. It is staffed by volunteers who have so far exchanged 6 million messages with people in crisis since its launch in May.

In a statement shared on the official Kensington Royal Instagram account, Prince William said: “Catherine and I, and Harry and Meghan couldn’t be more proud of what Shout has accomplished. We’re hugely proud and hugely grateful to all of you for being part of this.”

William and Kate’s outing comes after a busy week for the royal family, as many senior members attended various events in honour of Remembrance Day. Catherine attended the annual Festival of Remembrance concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening, alongside her husband, Her Majesty the Queen, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and many other members of the British royal family.

Catherine put on a stunning display at the poignant event, wearing a boat-necked navy blue dress with long sleeves. She wore her hair loose for the festival, but wore three poppies in a statement cluster on her left shoulder.

She also stepped out on Sunday to attend the annual remembrance service at The Cenotaph in London, where she stood shoulder to shoulder with the Queen and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on one of the royal balconies as the royals paid their deepest respects to Britain’s war dead, as well as surviving veterans and serving members of the armed forces.

Catherine stood in pride of place next to Queen Elizabeth II, dressed in a military-style coat by Alexander McQueen. She paired the dress coat with a stunning fascinator, which featured a delicate black veil and a pair of pearl earrings from the Queen’s own collection.

Prince William however did not join his wife on the royal balcony as he, along with his father Prince Charles, brother Prince Harry and uncle Prince Andrew, participated in the service and laid a wreath at the iconic London memorial. An equerry also laid a wreath on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh, 98, who retired from royal duty in 2017.
