The Duchess of Cambridge has expressed her excitement in welcoming brother-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby to the world during a visit to Leicester.
Royal fans captured the moment Catherine shared her views on the couple’s pregnancy where she claimed “it’s a special time”.
When asked if she was excited about the arrival and Meghan and Harry’s baby, which is due in the UK spring, Prince William’s wife replied: “Yeah, absolutely!”.
Adding: “It’s such a special time to have little kiddies.”
The duchess also told the excited royal fans how great it will be for her children to have a new play mate.
“A cousin for George, Charlotte and Louis as well. It’s really, really special,” she said.
The mother-of-three also spent some time chatting about her own children, in particular her youngest son Prince Louis.
“Louis’s getting bigger, I can’t believe he’s like seven months, he’s getting to be a big boy,” she said
In the lead up to the festive season, the duchess explained how much the young royals are looking forward to Christmas.
“They’re getting excited for Christmas time, because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up,” she told the royal fans.
Catherine’s comments follow rumours she and Meghan were not on good terms after it was revealed that Harry and his new wife will be moving out of Kensington Palace and in to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
“Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate,” Kensington Palace confirmed in a statement at the time. “The Duke and Duchess’s office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace.”
It sparked a series of bizarre claims that there had been a falling out between the princes’ wives, with one source even telling the Mail On Sunday: “Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on.”
However, these claims have never been addressed by the royal family and Rickard Palmer, royal correspondent at the Daily Express, has since denied there was ever a “big fallout”.
The story behind Harry and Meghan’s move to Frogmore Cottage? Harry and Meghan spreading their wings. No big fallout but Kate and Meghan not close. No royal properties available in London apparently.

Frogmore Cottage is currently undergoing a large refurbishment to transform it from staff accommodation to a family home.
The property has a special meaning to the soon to be parents as it is where they held their private wedding party and had their beautiful engagement photos taken.
