Catherine channels the ’60s in tweed Dolce & Gabbana suit

The Duchess of Cambridge cut a stylish figure on Tuesday as she visited a children’s hospital in the UK, where she taught a class on one of her favourite hobbies — photography.

It’s no secret that Catherine is a keen photographer, as she regularly shares snaps with the public that she has taken of her three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

While at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, the duchess spent time with young patients and took part in a creative arts workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Program, which focuses on how the arts can influence children’s health and happiness.

A statement on the Kensington Palace Instagram page said: “The Duchess joined children and their families who were taking part in a Playful Portraits workshop, and helped them to make sets and characters for their own pop-up theatres!

“The Duchess also visited Evelina’s Beach Ward to meet children who were taking part in the workshop at their bedsides.”

Catherine looked sensational for the outing, opting to recycle one of her tried and tested outfits. She looked beautiful in the Dolce & Gabbana two-piece, which compromised of a smart tweed jacket and matching skirt. Catherine previously wore the tweed suit back in February 2019 to the Royal Foundation’s Mental Health in Education conference.

She paired the ensemble with black tights and pointed-toe Gianvito Rossi pumps, which retail at US$695 (AU$1,028). As for her hair, Catherine opted for a sophisticated half-up, half-down style.

The duchess has been keeping a busy schedule this week. Catherine stepped out with Prince William on Monday to attend the UK Holocaust Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony.

Catherine looked visibly moved by the poignant ceremony as she sat alongside her husband at Central Hall in Westminster. The royal couple watched survivors of the Holocaust light six candles of remembrance, which represent the 6 million Jews who lost their lives, before taking to the stage alongside other key British figures to light additional candles themselves.

The duchess looked stylish in a woollen grey coat dress for the sombre occasion which featured a chunky waist belt and a statement black collar. She paired the classic dress with a pair of simple black stockings, black heels and a small patent leather clutch bag,
