Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell can’t get enough of their adorable granddaughter Rani Rose.
On Thursday, Kate took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of her mum and Kurt holding her two-month-old daughter.
The photo shows Goldie holding Rani — who Kate shares with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa — in her arms as she stares down lovingly at the precious baby. Meanwhile Russell snuggles up against Goldie, resting his chin on her shoulder and placing his hand on Rani’s head.
“Grandma and Grandpa duty…or should I say Mr and Mrs Claus,” Kate captioned the photo.
Fans were quick to comment on the adorable picture, with one writing: “How precious is this picture? Kate you really have the best grandparents for your children.”
Another added: “So precious. Great picture.”
Kate and partner Danny welcomed their new baby in October and revealed her unique name on social media shortly after. It turns out the name is a touching tribute to Danny’s father.
Taking to Instagram with a special post, Kate revealed the pair had chosen the name Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, with Rani pronounced as “Ronnie”, in tribute to Danny’s late father Ron.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” Kate explained. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly.
“To name her after him is an honour. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent out way and we send ours right back.”
Little Rani is the couple’s first child together, although Kate is also the mother of 14-year-old Ryder Russell and seven-year-old Bingham Hawn. Both were from previous relationships. Rani is also a welcomed edition to Goldie’s growing number of grandchildren.
In fact, she is Goldie and husband Kurt Russell’s sixth grandchild. They’re also grandparents to two other grandsons and another granddaughter.
Speaking about being a grandma previously, Goldie told Closer magazine: “A good family is the answer to happiness… I look at our kids and grandkids and there’s nothing in the world that could make me as proud as I am of all of them.”
