An American gymnast has become a worldwide sensation after performing a jaw-dropping floor routine at a university competition.
Katelyn Ohashi got the crowd on their feet in one of the most amazing performances spectators have been treated to in recent years, showing off her gymnastic skills and vibrant energy to a seriously cool medley of hits.
The highly talented athlete gave it her all with impressive flips and sky-high splits, leaving everyone in absolute awe and clapping along to her choice of music, which included Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’, The Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’ and Michael Jackson’s ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’.
In the routine, which has been shared thousands of times on social media, Katelyn begins with a sequence of back flips, sending her up into the air and landing firmly on her feet.
The gymnast then proceeds to dance on the spot before launching into more backflips, a cartwheel, down into the splits and straight back up. It is here you can see the rest of the gymnasts sharing in the excitement of the routine clapping along in sync and having their own little dance party side stage.

Katelyn didn’t stop there with kicks, front flips and turns, all the while with a huge grin on her face. Once she finished, she ran over to her fellow team mates who were all clapping in support of her along with the rest of the crowd, who were all on their feet by this point. It’s no surprise the gymnast received a perfect 10 for the jaw-dropping routine.
Since being published on Twitter on Sunday the video of the performance has garnered over 100,000 likes and 20,000 comments.
“Aside from this unbelievably amazing routine is the music. The music rocks and Katelyn rocks with it. GO GIRL!” one person commented.
