She hasn’t been an offical member of the royal family for more than 20 years but Sarah, Duchess of York, still turns heads wherever she goes, which she proved on Wednesday when she stepped out looking smouldering hot in a sexy black dress.

Sarah Ferguson looked sensational as she stepped out in the floor-length black gown at a star-studded awards ceremony in London, which flashed a sexy bit of shoulder thanks to its slashed neckline.

The Duchess of York wore the stunning dress, with a sparkling belt detail, to attend the Classic Brit Awards, at the Royal Albert Hall, where she joined classical singer Sarah Brightman on stage to present the award for Classic BRITs Icon.

The 58-year-old mum-of-two looked delighted as she handed the golden statue over to winner Andrea Bocelli and showed off her stunning figure in the classy black frock as she posed for photographs backstage in the winner’s room.

The flame-haired Duchess completed her elegant look with a pair of black high-heels and a pair of pearl drop earrings. While she kept her hair classy in a half-up, half-down style and went for a sultry make-up look thanks to a black smoky eye.

Mum to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Sarah is known for having a more daring sense of fashion than some of her former in-laws and famously had the initials ‘S & A’ embroidered onto her lavish wedding dress in silver beads, when she tied the knot with the Queen’s third child Prince Andrew in 1986.

She also stunned crowds when she made an appearance at the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which was held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle last month, wearing a very tight dress that showed off her curves.

Despite divorcing in 1996, Sarah and Prince Andrew have remained close and she recently praised her ex-husband, praising his appearance at the annual Trooping the Colour which took place on June 9. She posted a screenshot of the royal event, which marks Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday, on Instagram, writing: “Very proud of @hrhthedukeofyork Colonel of the Grenadier Guards.”

The Duke and Duchess are also thought to still share a home, the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where their daughters Princess Beatrice, 29, and Princess Eugenie, 28, are said to regularly join them for family dinners.

And, speaking to Aussie radio host Kyle Sandilands in 2016, Fergie sparked rumours that the pair may remarry one day, telling Sandilands they “never really left each other”.

What do you think of Sarah’s latest look? Are you a fan of the Duchess of York?
