She’s been out of the spotlight for several months but earlier this week, Pippa Middleton stepped out in a gorgeous aztec design dress this week in her first public appearance since giving birth to her first son Arthur last year.
The 35-year-old –who is the sister of Duchess Catherine — was absolutely glowing in the floor-length frock which featured a black base with a bold striped pattern in red, purple and pink.
Wearing her hair in a casual up-do, the mother-of-one glowed as she posed for photos on Wednesday at the British Heart Foundation Beating Hearts Ball in London. The beautiful mother sported a simple red clutch, while she kept her makeup to a minimum with a light pink lip and a touch of blush for the event at Guildhall.
Pippa, who is an ambassador for the organisation, joined around 400 people at the gala event, to raise money for those suffering with heart and circulatory diseases.
She enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, live entertainment and most importantly an auction to raise funds for the cause.
The doting mum and her husband James Matthews welcomed their beautiful baby boy Arthur Michael William Matthews to the world last October.
Royalists will also know that Arthur is the middle name of Prince William, Prince Charles, as well as Prince Louis. Other reports suggested the second middle name of William was given as a nod to Pippa’s brother-in-law, Prince William.
Little Arthur weighed 8lb 90z at birth and a spokesperson confirmed the safe arrival at the time. Pippa gave birth at St Mary’s hospital in London, which is the same hospital where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their children.
Pippa originally confirmed she was expecting her first child in a magazine column for British supermarket Waitrose in June 2018. In the article, the socialite said she hadn’t experienced morning sickness like her sister.
Baby Arthur is the cousin of five-year-old Prince George, three-year-old Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who is 10-months-old. The bundle of joy will also have a new playmate in coming months when Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex welcome their first baby. The royal couple announced they were expecting in October during their tour of Australia.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” a statement from Kensington Palace said.
