Nicole Kidman glows in elegant black dress for TV appearance

Nicole Kidman never seems to disappoint when it comes to fashion and her latest outfit is no different as she stepped out in a gorgeous black dress for an appearance on American talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Aussie actress looked as elegant as ever in the black couture dress as she entered the late night show studio on Tuesday.

Standing tall in black stilettos complete with a feather ornament, the 51-year-old smiled broadly for cameras before stepping onto the stage.

Speaking to host Jimmy Kimmel, Nicole discussed everything from her highly acclaimed role in her new movie Destroyer, to her husband Keith Urban and her beloved children.

The crowd were brought to laughter when the talented actress began discussing her awards and what her children Sunday and Faith think of them.

When asked by Jimmy whether they have any room left on their shelves at home for trophies for the kids, Nicole said she has offered to give some of her own to them.

“Actually I offered, when I won an Emmy for Big Little Lies, I won one for producing and one for acting, which was an incredible thing to happen,” she told the host and crowd.

“I was like, ‘okay, I can put one on your shelf, Sunday, and one on your shelf, Faith, and they’re yours.’

“Sunday didn’t want it. she said, ‘oh, I want to earn my own. I’m like you go girl!”

The beautiful mother was last spotted in her home country for the annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.

Nicole proudly posed alongside her mother Janelle and niece Lucia Hawley, after taking them along as plus ones, before giving a moving speech on stage in which she praised her mum’s tough love approach to parenting.

Wearing a floor-length glittery multi-coloured dress with a floral design from head-to-toe and a sheer panel across the waist, Nicole couldn’t help but stand out from her fellow celebrities as she posed for photos outside.

Meanwhile, her mum co-ordinated perfectly in a long black dress with a loose black jacket over the top covered in multi-coloured floral designs. And keen to shine out alongside her family members, Lucia looked beautiful in a floor-length black and white tiered ball gown and nude strappy heels, following in her aunt’s footsteps as she towered in front of the cameras.
