If you thought entering your 50s meant you had to tone things down in the style stakes, think again. In fact, Nicole Kidman pulled off one of her boldest looks yet as she posed for a smoking hot Instagram photo this week.

Taking to the social media site on Thursday, the award-winning actress left little to the imagination as she posed in a plunging sheer dress which featured dramatic sleeves and cinched her in at the waist with a chunky black belt.

She added a hat and wore her hair pulled back, which added an edgy flair to the all-black ensemble.

The 52-year-old captioned the image: “There’s just something about a black hat.”

Many fans were quick to comment on the racy pic, with one writing: “You are always stunning!”

Another added: “Your beauty is timeless.”

While a third wrote: “Stunning Nicole! Love the outfit!”

Meanwhile, the Big Little Lies star has been enjoying a relaxing winter break in Australia with her family over the past few days. And on Saturday, the mother-of-two took to Instagram to share a photo of herself out in the great outdoors with the caption: “I love hiking in the snow.”

In the image, Nicole wore a blue long-sleeved jumper and matching workout pants she she stood side-on and held onto her hiking poles.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s latest fashion statement comes just a month after she stepped out for the Giorgio Armani runway show in Paris alongside her handsome husband Keith Urban. The actress wowed in a black Armani sequinned dress that clung to her slender frame, while the country singer looked equally stylish in a classic black suit and tie.

Nicole, who has been married to the country singer since 2006, completed the elegant look with a chic white blazer draped over the top, kitten heels, minimal accessories, and wore her hair in tousled waves.
