First ladies of fashion! Brigitte and Melania rock fab styles in Belgium

Melania Trump and Brigitte Macron have made a name for themselves as the most stylish first ladies in recent history, and the pair didn’t disappoint as they stepped out together at the Nato Summit in Belguim on Wednesday.

The two women are in Brussels with their husbands and a host of other delegates from around the world for the high-level multilateral talks between nations, but while Donald Trump has already caused a stir for declaring that Germany is “totally controlled” and “captive to Russia”, the more fashion-focussed fans have kept their eyes firmly on the first ladies.

Brigitte and Melania stood side-by-side at a photo call for the first ladies and Nato’s only first gentleman Malgorzata Tusk, husband of Luxembourg’s prime minister Gauthier Destenay. While there were plenty of fabulous frocks on display it was Brigitte and Melania who stole the show once again.

The French first lady stuck to her signature style, opting for a Louis Vuitton suit, with black pants, a white and black fitted jacket and black pumps.

Looking stunning as always, the blonde beauty chose to keep her signature bob down framing her face, and accentuated the look with a light pink lip and dark eye.

Melania meanwhile went for a more summery look, with a floaty white patterned Elie Saab dress that finished just above her ankles.

Pairing the dress with nude heels, the former model stood tall in the crowd and opted for soft curls in her hair and minimal jewellery.

Earlier this week, President Trump’s wife stepped out in two stunning outfits as the pair made their way to Belgium on board the Marine One aircraft.

Travelling in style, the beauty showed off two pairs of Louboutin heels in the same day, changing outfits before she stepped off the plane in the European city.

This was the first time she had been spotted out and about in a few weeks following her visit to migrant children where she wore a controversial coat emblazoned with the words “I really don’t care, do you?”

Marked as disrespectful, the phrase printed on the back sparked backlash from people across the world who questioned her style choice.

However, the White House insisted there was no double meaning behind the coat and that the first lady simply liked the style.
