Red carpet siren! Kerri-Anne Kennerley steps out in sheer white ’60s jumpsuit

Kerri-Anne Kennerley gave us all a lesson in fashion this week as she showed us how to revamp an outfit that may be more suited to the office for a glamorous night on the town.

The Studio 10 star looked sensational on Tuesday evening as she stepped out in a sheer white jumpsuit for the Australian premiere of the new movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical Cats in Melbourne.

Kerri-Anne looked incredible as she posed on the red carpet in the see-through lace ensemble which was adorned with 3D flowers as she arrived at the event, and allowed her bold outfit to do the talking as she opted to wear no jewellery except for a simple gold watch.

The 66-year-old set pulses racing in the sheer number as her bra was visible through the netted fabric, while the jumpsuit’s wide leg pants with a scalloped hem and loose bell sleeves echoed back to the flower power styles of the ’60s. Not flashing too much flesh though, Kerri-Anne also appeared to be wearing a pair of white shorts beneath the all-in-one.

Kerri-Anne completed the look with a pair of metallic heeled sandals and a tan shoulder bag, while she kept her hair and make-up minimal for the occasion. However eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the jumpsuit was the same one that Kerri-Anne had worn to work last month.

The Australian icon shared an image of herself wearing the same jumpsuit on social media last month, as she smiled alongside singer Starley in the studio. But Kerri-Anne put a more professional spin on the outfit as she slipped on a white camisole underneath.

Fans were quick to praise Kerri-Anne for the look, with one person writing: “Fabulous…… Your outfit is just beautiful.” Another said: “You look gorgeous Kerri-Anne!”

While a third commented: “How gorgeous you look! Love your outfit and straight hair.”

Kerri-Anne is no stranger to daring fashion choices though and regularly opts for bold and colourful looks on the red carpet and on Studio 10. Just last month she made a show-stopping appearance at the Melbourne Cup in a custom-made turquoise floral frock.

Featuring statement frilly sleeves and a contrasting monochrome belt, Kerri-Anne certainly made a statement at the prestigious racing event. She finished off the number with an elaborate matching fascinator, a blue bag and gold pointed heels.
