She is never one to shy away from a bold fashion choice and Kerri-Anne Kennerley showed off her incredible sense of style once again this week, as the TV favourite put on a glittering display at the opening of a new musical in Sydney.
The 65-year-old Studio 10 star looked incredible as she posed on the red carpet on Thursday evening, where she was among stars who were invited to watch new stage show ‘Muriel’s Wedding The Musical’, based on the iconic ’90s movie.
Kerri-Anne dazzled in front of the cameras in an eye-catching gold sequinned top which featured full-length sleeves and a crew neckline, which she layered with a chunky black and gold necklace which matched her dark nail polish.
While the star’s choice of top was bright and bold, Kerri-Anne paired the show-stopping choice with a pair of simple, tailored black trousers, and a pair of understated black patent heeled boots. Not one to fade into the background though, the blonde beauty added an extra sparkle to her look with a contrasting handbag adorned in silver sequins.
Allowing her sparkling outfit to do the talking, Kerri-Anne kept her make-up understated, opting for a subtle dusting of bronzer and blush on her cheekbones, a soft nude lip and subtle smokey eyes.
Kerri-Anne’s glamorous appearance comes just days after she branded Gold Logie winner Tom Gleeson a “wimp” in a scathing rant, following his big win at the prestigious Australian TV awards on Sunday evening.
Kennerley took aim at Gleeson after he pulled out of an interview with the Channel Ten show at the last minute on Monday, with the blonde presenter claiming the accolade had clearly gone to his head.
“He has turned into ‘Gold Logie winner Tom’. ‘Wimp Tom’, you’re supposed to be here!” Kerri-Anne blasted, according to the Daily Mail.
“You’ve turned into a winner now. And now you’re a wimp, you’re far too good for us little people, Tom. No, he’s too good for us. I know the ABC type. He’s now so far ‘there’ where he wants to be,” she said, before adding: “Well they are like that!”
