Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi and her film producer husband Dimitri Rassam continued their wedding celebrations this weekend with a religious ceremony in Provence, France — and fans were quick to point out similarities between Charlotte’s third wedding dress and the gown her mother, Princess Caroline of Hanover, wore to marry property developer Philippe Junot in 1978.
The couple, who first tied the knot in Monaco in June, held a religious ceremony and private reception in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in the south of France on Saturday.
For the occasion, Charlotte wore a custom Giambattista Valli white ruffled gown, which featured delicate embroidery.
In an official portrait, shared on Facebook on the official Giambattista Valli account, the young royal looked sensational in the off-the-shoulder chiffon gown, while her dark, short locks were swept back into an elegant up style.
The photo showed the newlyweds, who are parents to eight-month-old son Balthazar, staring lovingly into each other’s eyes.

In a second image, shared by a fan, the newlyweds are pictured sharing a kiss as well-wishers throw flower petals.
Meanwhile, fans spotted strong similarities between Charlotte’s latest gown and that of her mother, Princess Caroline of Hanover, on her own wedding day. Her mother’s dress featured a similar high neckline, delicate embroidery, and was also made of flowing chiffon.
The royal bride’s wedding outfit also included a nod to her famous grandmother, as Charlotte finished off the elegant look with an eye-catching Cartier diamond necklace. According to PEOPLE, the incredible piece of jewellery appears to be the same one that her grandmother was gifted on the occasion of her wedding to Prince Rainier III in 1956.
The granddaughter of Grace Kelly opted for a far less traditional outfit as she said her vows though, stepping out in a dazzling silver mini dress, designed by Yves St Laurent, which featured three statement bows down the front.
Fans were also quick to point out similarities between Charlotte’s dress and the suit worn by her grandmother, who passed away in 1982, for her civil partnership more than six decades ago.
