Spain’s Queen Letizia had all eyes on her this week as she stepped out in a stunning pink, floral frock for royal duties in the country’s capital city.

The 47-year-old looked elegant in the long, flowing dress, which featured a lovely flower pattern, for a visit to Zarzuela Palace to hear about charity work in Spain. With her brunette locks styled down and straight, the mother-of-two beamed at guests and royal fans as she entered the building – the touch of flower detailing on her dress, the perfect fit for the start of spring.

She stood tall in maroon leather heels for the outing and sported a natural look with mascara and brown eye-shadow, which highlighted her gorgeous eyes. Meanwhile, she kept jewellery to a minimum, choosing to pair the outfit with dainty, gold dangly earrings.

The event at the palace was held in honour of the TEAF Visual Charity, which assists families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, which relates to the physical and mental damage in children due to alcohol exposure in the womb. Throughout the day, Letizia spent time listening to charity members and children who have lived with the condition.

Those affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder can experience a range of symptoms, both developmental and behavioural. This can include, learning disability, short stature, slow growth, aggression, hyperactivity and irritability. Meanwhile, further symptoms can be congenital heart disease, hearing loss, speech impairment, or vision disorder.

This was worn over the top of a grey checkered suit and a white silk blouse. Letizia carried a black leather clutch for the event and kept her shiny locks in their usual down and straight hair-do.

The event was held to discuss a strategy against malnutrition and childhood obesity, where Letizia was sat alongside UNICEF Spain President Gustavo Suarez Pertierra. Following the meeting, the Queen held a meeting with employees of the Spanish committee of the organisation.
