The Duchess of Cornwall looked beautiful and classy in a black ensemble as she stepped out in support of a charity which helps disadvantaged children.
Camilla glowed in a black jacket and skirt for the royal event for the London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children which she hosted at Buckingham Palace.
Rugged up in black stocking and gloves, the 71-year-old looked every bit the proud host while posing for photos in front of a low emission taxi which she travelled in especially for the event.

Prince Charles’ wife has been Patron of the charity since 2010 following the work they do to bring happiness to the lives of children. For a whopping 91 years the charity has added a bit of joy to kids who are faced with difficult challenges from early in life.
“The London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children (LTCFC) dates back to 1928, when a driver named Mick Cohen, who had grown up in the Norwood Orphanage, recruited 12 drivers to organise an outing and raise money for the home,” Clarence House wrote on in a post on Instagram.
“Today, the LTCTC are known for organising outings to the seaside and holding exciting events for special needs and disadvantaged children including trips to the theatre and Christmas parties.”
It has been a busy week for the duchess who was also spotted speaking at the launch of the Royal Osteoporosis Society. Formerly the National Osteoporosis Society, the charity was given approval for a royal title by the Queen in September last year.
Here Camilla spoke of her connection to the fragile bone disease that causes debilitating and sometimes fatal fractures, which claimed the life of her mother many years ago.

‘It was 25 years ago that my mother died as a result of osteoporosis,” she told attendees at the launch. “In fact, she was exactly the same age that I am now. Then it was never discussed, rarely diagnosed and always attributed to old people.
“I can’t believe 25 years later what I’m seeing now… It’s just incredible what’s happened and I just wish my mother was here today to see what could have been done.”
While at the launch Camilla met with some of the charity’s members, supporters and ambassadors before unveiling the society’s new logo. Adding to the excitement of the day was the launch of a new research academy which will further support those suffering with the terrible condition.
“The Duchess’s visit also marked the launched of the world’s first Osteoporosis and Bone Research Academy, which will bring together leading researchers, clinicians and academics to advance knowledge of osteoporosis and develop new medication and treatments,” Clarence House wrote in a post shared on Instagram.
It seems the duchess never has a moments rest with herself and husband Prince Charles announcing a tour which will take place next month.
The royal couple plan to visit St Lucia, Barbados, St Vincent and The Grenadines, St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Cuba and The Cayman Islands from during the period from March 17 to 29.

They are expected to undertake over 50 engagements on the trip focusing on the important relationships between the countries.
“At the request of the British Government, Their Royal Highnesses will also visit Cuba to highlight the growing bilateral relationship with the UK and showcase some of the cultural links between the two countries,” Clarence House wrote in a post on Instagram.
