France’s first lady Brigitte Macron is known for her impeccable sense of style, and she wowed onlookers this week by stepping out in two stunning outfits in one day to attend a series of events in Japan.
Brigitte strayed slightly from her usual tailored jacket and simple shift dress ensemble as she stepped out in a striking power suit as she joined her husband French President Emmanuel Macron at the G20 Summit in Osaka on Thursday.
The former teacher looked sensational in the beige suit that feature muted red and green pinstripes. She added two-tone Louis Vuitton pumps, which retail for $1,030 (AU$1,470), to the ensemble and wore her blonde hair in an elegant up-style.
Meanwhile, her husband looked dapper in a black suit, white shirt and tie.
It was a very fashion-forward transformation for the first lady after she was spotted just hours before in a stylish high-neck shift dress as she met with Japan’s Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
Donning the elegant navy blue frock, Brigitte paired the statement look with blue satin Louis Vuitton sky-high stilettos.
Brigitte’s glamorous appearance comes just a few days after she joined forces with Denmark’s Princess Mary in Paris this week.
The mother-of-three once again hit all the right notes as she opted for a powder pink dress which fell above the knee and a pair of simple black heels.
Meanwhile, Mary, 47, stood out in a below-the-knee white dress which clinched in at the waist with a thin black belt. The V-neck number had a light chequered pattern and she coupled the classy outfit with some statement blue heels.
The two women have met previously, most recently in 2018, and appeared relaxed in each other’s company. Mary’s solo visit to France was part of her work to help Denmark strengthen ties across Europe.
