Amal Clooney is stunning in vibrant red dress at Nobel Peace Prize ceremony

She’s known for her incredible style and Amal Clooney did not disappoint as she stole the style crown at the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

The wife of Hollywood legend George Clooney, 40, stood out from the crowd as she opted for a vibrant red midi dress which fell just below her knees.

She wore her hair in loose waves over her shoulders and put on a very animated display as she laughed and chatted to people around her in the crowd, as they watched the 2018 ceremony unfold at the City Hall in Oslo, Norway, on Monday.

The barrister opted for comfort when it came to her footwear and wore some low beige shoes to complete her classy look.

This year saw Denis Mukwege, a doctor who helps sexual violence victims in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nadia Murad, a survivor of sexual slavery by Islamic State, jointly receive the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

They received a standing ovation and much applause from the crowd as they gave emotional acceptance speeches, calling for urgent action.

“If there is a war to be waged, it is the war against the indifference which is eating away at our societies,” Mukwege said.

Meanwhile, Murad added in her own speech: “It is my view that all victims deserve a safe haven until justice is done for them.”

"Let us raise our voices together and say: No to violence, yes to peace, no to slavery, yes to freedom, no to racial discrimination, yes to equality and to human rights for all."

It’s just the latest dazzling appearance Amal has made recently, and she showed off her fabulous fashion sense as she stepped out in a stunning silk gown for the United Nations Correspondents Association Awards in New York City just days ago.

The 40-year-old was absolutely glowing in the floor-length, blue and white gown which floated gracefully to the floor while she walked alongside actor husband George.

With her brunette locks styled in soft curls, the mother-of-two shone in the elegant gown which she paired with dangly earrings and a pink lip for the lavish event.
