Amal Clooney looked stunning as she stepped out in London on Wednesday, sporting a strapless, sequinned dress that included a tiered, mermaid-like skirt.

But it was her glamorous mum, Baria Alamuddin, who made quite the statement in a flowy, elegant, and slightly sheer green three-piece ensemble, complete with an organza jacket. She finished off the stunning look with a jewelled statement necklace and silver shoes.

Meanwhile, Amal looked sensational in her dazzling outfit, which she paired with a pair of black pointed stilettos. The successful lawyer wore her long locks curled, hanging loosely over her shoulders, and kept her make-up simple with a subtle smokey eye and a coating of pink lipstick.

Amal posed alongside her actor husband George in the British capital as the pair attended the premiere for his upcoming TV series Catch-22.

Amal and George, who tied the knot in 2014, share twins Alexander and Ella together and the celebrity couple are also close friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with Amal being one of the guests at Meghan’s baby shower in America in February.

However the ER star ruled himself out of the running to be baby Archie Harrison’s godfather this week, telling US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel that he will not be asked to take on the role.

“[Asking me to be godfather] would be a bad idea,” he said, reports Cosmopolitan. “I’m a father of twins and I can barely do that.

“So I’m not going to be the godfather. I promise you that. I’m fairly sure. I should not be anyone’s godfather.”

Meanwhile, it comes after Amal turned heads earlier this week, as she stepped out in Rome, Italy channeling the glamour of the 1970s in a sparkling top and mini-skirt.

The human rights barrister wouldn’t have looked out of place in the disco decade as she donned an emerald green cropped top covered in eye-catching sequins, which she paired with an embellished mini-skirt decorated with intricate beading.
