The New York Post has published a ‘puntastic’ font page after Beatles legend Paul McCartney gave a very candid interview about his past sexual exploits with bandmate, John Lennon.

Without beating around the bush, McCartney, 76, recounted a night where he masturbated with the late John Lennon and other friends in his youth. Speaking to GQ, the musician explained he was at Lennon’s house when the sex act took place.

“And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying – I don’t even know if we were staying over or anything – we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did,” he admitted.

According to McCartney’s story, the group of around five men would shout out the names of women for inspiration to help get each other excited.

“We were just, ‘Brigitte Bardot!’ ‘Whoo!’” he continued. “And then everyone would thrash a bit more.”

When Lennon shouted out “Winston Churchill”, McCartney said the moment was over for all involved, admitting “it wasn’t a big thing” and something he didn’t do much of. Still, he shrugged it off as “good harmless fun”, insisting it didn’t hurt anyone.

The story made headlines around the world, including the cover of the New York Post. Alongside an iconic photo of McCartney with Lennon, “Beat The Meatles” was splashed across the paper’s front page on Wednesday.

“Come together,” the New York Post captioned the picture, hilariously referencing the classic Beatles track.

“Hard day’s night – Paul reveals Beatles’ sex secrets,” also made the cover.

In addition to the crude New York Post cover, others have flocked to Twitter and social media to share their own jokes about McCartney’s shocking sex confession.

One person wrote: “Well they were the BEATles.”

Another comment read: “That awkward moment when you find out what The Beatles meant by Come Together.”

A third added: “Pour one out for Ringo Starr, who today found out he was not invited to The Beatles group w***.”

McCartney has been giving a number of interviews and making television appearances in recent times. Last week, he made headlines when he surprised fans with TV host Jimmy Fallon as part of a prank for The Tonight Show.

The aim of the game was to surprise fans who were visiting the iconic 30 Rock Studios in New York City. As the crowd made their way into an elevator, McCartney and Fallon were there to surprise them, leaving fans gobsmacked.

Are you shocked by Paul McCartney’s sex confession? Is this something he should have shared, or should these kinds of stories be kept private?
