A man had been in and out of court for stealing at least four times in the past month.

He walked into court once more and stood in front of the judge. With a disappointed tone the judge asked: “Haven’t I seen you in here several times before?”

The repeat offender answered: “Yes, your Honour, you have.”

“And didn’t I tell you I never wanted to see you in here again?” the judge asked.

The offender replied quickly: “Yes, your Honour! That’s exactly what I told the officer, but he insisted I come anyway!”
