Starts at 60 Daily Joke: A husband was thinking of a present for his wife

A husband was trying to decide what to get his wife for her birthday. When the day came he had finally settled on the perfect present to show his appreciation for her.

When she woke up he ordered her to stay in bed and relax. As she lay there, looking forward to breakfast in bed, the smell of bacon floated up from the kitchen.

But after a good long wait nothing happened so she finally went downstairs to investigate. She found her husband sitting at the table eating a big plate of bacon and eggs.

“As a surprise for your birthday,” he explained, “I’ve decided to cook my own breakfast.”
