Heart-wrenching 2019 “step-dad” ad shows how much the world has changed

The prevalence of broken families over the last 30 years is something we can all recognise. This Fathers’ Day Budweiser have made a short film that will truly melt your heart showing the critical role that step fathers can play in this changing world.  Each of the families in the short film showcase their stories emotively before the now grown up children who admit how hard they made parenting for their step-fathers, ask to officially be adopted.

According to Budweiser, the brand behind the short film, it is a tribute to all fathers who step up for their families every day.

Then, in a second heart-felt advertisement for Fathers’ Day 2019, John Deere speaks in the voice of an infant to break open his first Fathers Day.  In the ad, the baby delivers him his first ride-on lawnmower.  So cute.
