2. Red Centre Way, Northern Territory

Kick off your journey in Ceduna, South Australia and head west across the Nullarbor towards Perth. This area might have a reputation for being a barren land but there’s plenty of beauty to be found along the way. There’s no doubt that tropical North Queensland is one of the most stunning regions in Australia. If you want to explore the north of Australia the Savannah Way is the road trip for you. It’s the ultimate drive across the country stretching a whopping 3,700km from Cairns to Broom. You’ll see the amazing Undara Lava Tubes along the way, as well as the Boodjamulla National Park and the majestic Millaa Millaa Falls.
