Remove scratches from your wooden tables

You can fix a beloved but beaten table with this simple tip.

Have you ever had a fairly new piece of timber furniture suffer a decent scratch at the hands of a grandchild slightly too vigorous with a matchbox car or other toy?

Or perhaps you’ve seen your once fresh and new timber furniture ageing a little, bearing the scratches and dents that come from good use.

Well, here’s a simple, smoothing tip today that many use to knock out scratches with a couple of simple items that are already in the pantry.

No problem, this handy hint should help remove and cover up a majority of those pesky scratches in no time at all.

All you need is:

1/2 cup of vinegar

1/2 cup of olive oil

Mix together and rub into the surface. Dry and voila! Your table should be looking better in no time at all.

Just spread the mixture on an old cloth, then get another soft cloth and polish it in, leaving no residue on top.  The gloss will lift on the timber and you’ll see an instant improvement in the appeal of the table.
