About Marjorie Pettigrew
Marjorie has been married to Ron for 58 years. Together they have three sons and two daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She’s nursed a daughter through bowel cancer, and sadly lost siblings to cancer. After surviving cancer herself, she discovered her love for volunteering, by getting involved with Cancer Council. It was a natural result of the gratitude she feels for the support she received. She says when your priorities are family and community, volunteering and considering leaving a gift in your will to a cause close to your heart is one of the best things you could do.
