About Kathy Lynch

My name is Katherine (Kathy) Lynch. I am a very blessed Grandmother of 9. I love my family most preciously and both my Parish community and extended community. As a little girl, my Dad was a Light House Keeper post War and our family lived on the lighthouses where we experienced a most beautiful simplicity of life with groceries arriving once a fortnight and sometimes longer if cyclonic. The trip from the land to the islands was usually around eight hours by store boat during which we experienced many diverse changes in the ocean's behaviour and if we came on the Light house ship, it would take up to 8 days, visiting the other lights on the journey. Both my brother and I did correspondence for many years with our mother as our teacher. We would come home to school from time to time as well. I now live close to the ocean and I just love the sea which is full of many mysteries and changes each day.
