Cruise ships are rarely small vessels so when it comes to the world’s biggest, it is truly huge! But words can’t really describe the magnitude of the Harmony of the Seas – Royal Caribbean and the world’s largest cruise liner.
The brand new cruise ship made its maiden voyage from Southampton in the UK yesterday as it heads off for a four-night cruise to Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The 361m long vessel can carry 6,780 passengers, and it features 2 restaurants, 23 swimming pools and boasts 16 guest decks!
The ship is divided into seven neighbourhoods, including Central Park and Boardwalk, and it has a fitness centre, H2O Zone water park with 10 story high slide with two cylinders, 3D Movie theatre, 11,252 works of art, an Ice Rink, a diving show theatre, a Bionic Bar where drinks will be made solely by two robotic arms, Broadway-style shows such as Grease (musical), and two rock climbing walls.
